Click Here: Celebrate National Affirming/PIE Day on March 14, 2025! Why PIE? PIE = Public. Intentional. Explicit. Those are the standards we hold ourselves and our welcome to when we seek to live into being fully Affirming, Welcoming, and Inclusive people and communities.
As an Affirming Ministry Bethany has been asked to contribute homemade pies in support of Dalhousie University's 7th Annual P.I.E Day Fundraiser. This event on March 13th (see poster for details) is presented by DalOUT - Dal’s Queer Student Society with support from local congregations of The United Church of Canada and the UCC Chaplaincy at Dalhousie to raise funds for Dalhousie's 2SLGBTQ+ Student Bursary Fund.
